My name is Steve McNulty, and in September 2027 I will mark 50 years working in the New Zealand immigration system. I started my career inside government, and later began work as a licensed adviser. As I approach retirement, I am offering significantly reduced fees for individuals, families and employers who need help navigating the New Zealand immigration process.
From 1977 to 1997, I worked for Immigration New Zealand in Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, Fiji, Tonga, China, Singapore and Malaysia, gaining firsthand experience with New Zealand’s immigration rules, policies and operational processes.
In 1997 I founded Migrate NZ Ltd, becoming the first fully licensed Immigration Adviser in Wellington and among the first 10 licensed advisers in New Zealand. After many years in the Wellington CBD, I relocated to Silverstream, Upper Hutt in 2020.
These final two years present an opportunity for me to finish my career by helping as many people as possible.

With a career beginning in 1977 inside Immigration New Zealand, Steve brings five decades of direct experience across operational, policy, and international settings.
Among NZ’s First Licensed Advisers
Steve is among the first ten Immigration Advisers licensed in New Zealand and the first fully licensed adviser in the Wellington region.

Steve is a sole practitioner. This means Steve does no outsourcing, no junior staff. Every client deals directly with him from initial consultation through to application submission.

Retirement Pricing (2026–2027)
As I approach retirement after 50 years in NZ immigration, I am offering heavily discounted fees for my final two years of practice. The intention is to keep my services accessible and finish my career helping as many people as possible.
*Final fees depend on visa category and complexity - confirmed after the initial consultation. Government visa application fees are additional.
